Is there any schools that would offer me a full scholarship?
I have a 2070 SAT score and a 3.87 GPA (U); 4.07 (W)

I also got a 32 on the ACT

Your 32 ACT is much better than your SAT (which is equal to about an ACT 30).

You’re a little late to be asking. Many full tuition scholarship deadlines (for ACT 32) were Dec 1st, but there probably still are some.

What kind of schools do you like? Big, small, quiet, rah rah big sport, rural, city, big city, warm weather, cold/snowy weather?

What is your possible major?

Do you have funding the room, board, books, etc?

What is your home state?

I don’t really have any preferences, I just don’t want to be a financial burden to my family. I live in the state of California

There is a thread on this board that offers information about colleges that give lots of merit aid.

What you really need to do is start combing lists of colleges and seeing which ones offer merit-based aid to students that are in your grade bracket. I was just looking at High Point University’s page, for example; with your stats they would probably offer you a substantial scholarship. When I was in high school I applied to Agnes Scott College with a 3.67 weighted GPA and a 1460 CR + M SAT score, with decent extracurriculars, and got a scholarship that would have covered all of my tuition. (It’s a women’s college, though.) I eventually went to another women’s college, Spelman College, which covered 100% of my direct costs, but that’s a historically black college.

I would say with those stats you might be a very attractive candidate to some of the colleges in the lower tier of the U.S. News rankings - look from like #40 on down.

Check out Denison, St. Lawrence University, Wheaton College (both in IL and in MA), Lawrence University, Beloit, Earlham College, Willamette University, Wofford College, College of Wooster, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Kalamazoo, Muhlenberg, St. John’s, Ursinus, Lewis & Clark, College of St. Benedict, Hendrix, Knox, Allegheny, Juniata, Millsaps, Hope College, Albion College, and Coe College, just for starters.

For larger universities, look at Tulane, University of Miami (one of my friends with lower stats than mine got substantial scholarship support to go there), Pepperdine, Syracuse, Fordham, Southern Methodist, Baylor, Northeastern, American, Marquette, Auburn (which is affordable even without merit aid, but is known for giving merit aid to OOS students), Clark University, UA-Tuscaloosa. Some of those schools are not really known for giving great merit aid - I think Northeastern is one of them, so I’m not really sure. The LACs are sometimes your better bet, as they often offer large merit scholarships to attract great students away from the more prestigious universities.

Also, as a California resident, check out the Cal States.

I think it’s too late to apply to the Cal States.

I don’t think Marquette will give a full tuition scholarship for your stats; My DS had stats a bit higher and wasn’t given a full tuition.

Auburn’s scholarship date was Dec 1st. If money is an issue, then it isn’t affordable for OOS students. It’s COA for OOS students is $34k per year. You could try applying and see what they offer. I don’t know if they award past their due date.

UAlabama-Tuscaloosa does have a Dec 1st “priority” date for full-tuition scholarships for your stats. However, that doesn’t mean that they won’t award you one if you apply ASAP. UA does want more students from Calif, so you’d be a desirable candidate. But, you must apply ASAP. It’s an easy app - no essays, no recs needed. Then, a few days later, you’ll get a follow-up email. You’ll use that info to get access to the scholarship application - which you MUST do as soon as you can. That app is also easy - no essays, no recs. Scholarships are awarded by stats.

If UA gives you a scholarship, you probably won’t know until spring because you missed the “priority” deadline. But, that’s ok. Let me know if you have any questions.

Tulane won’t give a full tuition scholarship for your stats. It will typically give about $20k-25k, but the tuition & fees is about $40k (yikes!) plus room and board. Total COA $53k

St. Louis will likely give you about a half tuition scholarship

UMiami would probably give you at least half tuition, maybe more.

In Calif…try…U San Francisco and St. Mary’s of California Moraga
