I know I have segments for each part of being at the U next year (tuition, meal plan, board, -financial aid, etc.) but do you get like a complete $$ amount from the U of M stating how much everything will cost total, or do you just have to add it all up?

Wasian…You should’ve received an e-mail notification in your Gophermail account regarding your eFAAN and that should spell out a complete COA (cost of attendance) including all the tuition, room and board, fees, etc. as well as any Financial Aid and/or scholarships you have been awarded.

The COA shown may be slightly higher than what your actual cost will be since it will include amounts for transportation, books, personal expenses, etc. which will vary from student to student. The numbers shown for tuition and room/board should be fairly accurate though.

I completed my eFann, but where do you find the COA? The only one I can find is the general cost of attendance on the U of M website.

It may not be the “all in one place” option you’re looking for as of today, but if you go to your MyU page and click on “Student Account” your actual tuition and fees for the Fall Semester should be there already (D1’s account shows hers). The Housing Assignment e-mail you received should show your upcoming Room and Board charges and you can add them all together. The Room and Board charges should post to your Student Account page sometime in the next several days, but in the meantime adding those two numbers together should give you an accurate total.

I understand, thank you very much (:!
