are the chances of getting accpeted higher for students who pay full tuition?
I'd like to narow it down to 3 schools. USC, UCLA and U of M.
Are you more likely to get put 'on top of the pile' of admissions if you apply with full tuition?

Are you International or OOS? I would say you have a slight advantage if you are an OOS or International Student whom requires no FA for UCLA. UC’s are always in need of extra money. If you are in-state, it would not be an advantage for UCLA. USC rates are the same for all students regardless. Not sure about U of M.

BTW,
Both my sons are full pay for UCD and SDSU and I saw no advantage.

Thank you for your answers. Yes, I am an international, so I do get maybe a little bit more recognition from the UC’s?

In another thread back in August, you said you already got into both USC and UCLA. I suspect that is not the case. Your SAT of ~2000 in another thread, may not be competitive enough for an international student.
