full tuition scholarship = ?

How many credit hours is the scholarship for? Is it only for 4 years or until completion of degree or ? I'm going to guess 8 semesters, but I don't know.

Also, if it is for x number of hours per semester, how much do you pay for additional credit hours? Will it be determined on in state/out of state status?

I beleive it is for 8 semesters for up to 18 credits per semester. The info is on the scholarship website - you just need to research it a bit. Doesn’ t matter if you are in or out of state - the tuition is covered.

If you are OOS and go over the 18 credits, you pay the OOS price per credit hour. DS took a course over the summer and he had to pay the OOS price per credit hour. The full tuition scholarship is for 4 years or 8 semesters. The full tuition scholarship covers all increases in tuition.

My daughter took the 10-credit summer language program and she applied for and received a separate scholarship for that. Sometimes, the scholarship can be extended.

The scholarships are 8 semesters (doesn’t matter which, spring, summer, fall) up to 18 credits per semester. You don’t get reimbursed if you take less credits and you have to pay OOS price per extra credit you take.

Thanks all for the info and the suggestion that there may be additional scholarships to cover summer :-)
