I just finished my junior year and is selecting the courses for my coming senior year. Now there are three science courses that I am free to choose from - AP Bio, AP Physics C, and AP Chem. Due to the course load, my college counselor and I think it is only reasonable for me to choose two of them instead of all of them, so I am wondering which two I should take according to my intended college majors - business, economics, management, etc.

Please kindly give me some advice on the fundamental courses for business-related majors since my goal is to become an entrepreneur. Like I have heard that students who want to major in psychology are encouraged to take all sorts of biology courses during their high school years.

Thank you all so much for your time in advance!! Your advice or even simply what you've heard are extremely appreciated!!

At this point, just choose courses that will be interesting for you and will challenge you. Two or three is not relevant to any major in college you’ll eventually choose. All of them will have analytical and quantitative skills taught that will be useful for you in a business type college curriculum. Are any of them absolutely necessary? Not at all. But any would be very useful. Your eventual college dept won’t care – they look at your college work, not your HS work.

I assume you’ll be taking a top level math class and some sort of Econ, right?

Well I am interested in a similar line as you but since I was doing IB I decided only to choose one (replaced the second with philosophy :D). Well I choose IB HL Physics because it requires a decent level of mathematical ability and practical thinking - skills that you need for business/economics.

Physics requires the most problem solving of the three. That being said, I don’t think which two you take will be very relevant - just pick the ones you like the most.
