Funding for MS aerospace engineering

I've already applied to a couple of schools (Aerospace Engineering for MS thesis based) but the wait is really killing me. I've applied to Texas Austin and Ga Tech. I was already accepted into UCLA for fall '10 but because I heard that almost no MS students get funded, I wanted to apply to a few more schools to see if I could get funded. I eventually want to do my PhD at Ga Tech, Stanford, or MIT. On a side note, I've applied to a few Applied Math PhD programs as well

As for my stats, if anyone cares:
3.8 gpa (I wonder what difference it would make for funding for engineering MS programs if I had a gpa as low as, say, 3.2?); B.S. in physics and applied math; GRE: 800Q, 490V, and 5AW; 2 of my LORs come from profs I did research with. I've taken 2 engineering courses: heat transfer and fluid mechanics. I got an A in heat but B- in the fluid

In Aerospace, I'm interested in doing research in computational aerodynamics (I've self-studied and read a bit about aerodynamics). I emailed some profs at UT-Austin and GaTech awhile back and some profs mentioned they've taken on MS-thesis students in the past. Anyone know what my chances are for getting accepted and then getting funding at UT-Austin or GaTech?
