<p>Something just occurred to me.
Let me just show you some parts of my stats.</p>

<p>3.3 gpa unweighted 3.9 weighted
Class Rank: 19th (top 6%)</p>

<p>I always got B+ and A-. Never got anything below that all these years.
I took three AP courses as of last year which I had received two b+ and one A
Hmm. Surely something is strange...</p>

<p>And everyday I stumble across Chance Me thread that goes something like
'HORRIBLE gpa. I have 3.7 gpa unweighted!!'</p>

<p>Hmm, maybe my school is a hopelessly 'loose' school.
But then again, I check our school's stats last few years.</p>

<p>Not too great, but sent about 10~20 kids to places like
Yale, Cornell, Columbia, U-chicago, NYU, etc...</p>

<p>Hmm. Maybe I am incredibly dumb and probably only got to where I am today
because of my first generation immigrant yadayadayada the usual immigrant story.</p>

<p>Hmm. I forget. CC people are incredible studying die-hards who have
'financial diffculties' or 'family matters' and yet achieve higher gpa score than I do.</p>

<p>Hahaha…oh dear. My HS sent 1-2 people to Ivies…for the past 2 years…none of the Ivies took any person from the school.</p>

<p>10-20 students to those schools is a fantastic number.</p>

<p>Cornell actually takes a lot of kids from my school, it seems to like it.
It probably helps that we’re in upstate NY and the strongest school in the area</p>
