Any thoughts here from people who know graduates of the schools or have kids who are in the schools? Likely will go to dental school, but who knows? Want lac to determine if that is the case. Likely major is Biology, Neuroscience, or Bio Chem. Small possibility that it could be Bio Engineering, in which case would have to transfer out after year 3. Never had overnight at Furman, so dont know the true FIT, so how scary is that if coming from the Midwest to Furman?

If going to grad school, would you choose the least expensive school, or is one stronger than the other to justify a larger up front expenditure (again please post if you have first hand knowledge, or know someone really well who is from either school).

Both schools tout their research opportunities, but is one better in this regard? Furman may have a stronger Alumni network if you wish to work in the south, correct? I am told CC has good alumni network in upper midwest with 3M and Medtronic.

Thanks
