<p>They even stole Haas Pavilion's interior design. Typical UCLA...stole fight song, logo, mascot, now campaign fundraising...</p>

<p>Originally UCLA was just a normal school. They were a normal school for a long time before they actually became a full UC.</p>

<p>A Bruin is when you take barley, hops and Rocky Mountain spring water and brew it together to make beer. When it’s actually being prepared you can say “The beer is bruin!”</p>

<p>They also play dirty tricks when they want to compete with Cal on recruiting more students of color. This year, UCLA decided to have its Senior Weekend stay program on the VERY same weekend as Cal’s Senior Weekend and Cal Day weekend. We received so many student inquiries that seniors were torn over which school to stay over. </p>

<p>Did I also mention UCLA copied Cal’s entire Bridges program? (NARRC, PASS, BRRC, Reach!, Raza, MSU)</p>

<p>La already recruits more students of color than Cal anyways right?..
I think this just kinda shows that LA is slowly raising the bar to Cal’s level and Cal isn’t budging for some reason. It’s why there’s speculation that LA will sometime in the near future, be on the same level as Cal, despite Cal being what some like to call the flagship school.</p>
