Hey everyone,
I was wondering if I can put down activities I plan to do later in my Senior year on my college application. Based on my research, most people say I can.
The activity I want to put down is baseball (in the spring). However, I’m not sure if there will be a baseball team yet. Chances are there will be, but I’m worried that I’ll put down baseball and then I won’t actually do it.
Thanks!

If it is a continuing activity, you can check also the box. I would not list anything that has not been started.
Talk to the coach. How likely is it that the team will exist, and how likely that you will be on it? Ask the coach if it is okay to put it on your application. If (s)he says yes, do it. If not, do not, and send an update to the college once the sport actually starts up.
If you haven’t done it in HS to date and you are not sure there will be a team then I’d leave it off your application. Doing one year of baseball second semester of senior year of HS won’t have a meaningful impact on a college admission decision.
Agree with the above, that if the teams does start and you are on it that you could send an update to colleges if you like.
