Anyone else applying to Columbia that uses this website for more than just to compare stats?? Send a message... maybe well be seeing eachother!

if you think that people who use this site for socializing are hotties, then you are greatly mistaken

lol jk :)

There's always facebook when (or if) we get in!

ORRR

[shameless plug]

http://groups.myspace.com/columbia2010

Lots of pictures, lots of socializing ... and a less hostile atmosphere than CC. Hahaha.

The group is for EDers who already got in. You're free to browse around, though.

hmmm... i guess you are all bout the hard core competition... i think you should all take a break, i mean our apps are already sent, there is absolutely nothing else left to be done, so there is not point in continueing to compare stats, conder if you are ogg enough, whatever.... but i guess if thats how you want to spend the next 3 months... :) have fun...

a_nicte, nice attempt... but cc people are way too hardcore about thhe competition. maybe visit high school life, everything is much more mellow there.

Hey im about hardcore competiton too... otherwise I would have never applied to cc... BUT do you guys realize that there is nothing left to compete for... I mean the apps are sent... you have no say... sorry to break it to you but... ITS OVER. yes you read right... OVER. no use in fretting over it any more... take a break...

i completely understand what you are saying. some people are posting chance threads, but it doesn't matter, your app is in so there is no point in ascertaining chances. it just really annoys me...

hey, i can kinda see where he's going.

hotpiece i'm getting the message that you ARE... and then would you be annoyed the way you are if you weren't? since bringing it up on cc requires a certain level of consciousness about how hot you actually are. i'm just bringing up the thought, you don't have to respond.

well, OfEternity, i actually am pretty fly... at least in my opinion. (and i won senior superlative for hottest girl). but i think that my supposed hotness has actually made me try harder to excel b/c everyone has these stereotypes of me as a girl who tries to get by on looks alone. so i really try hard to dispel that...

and, i think i am so annoyed by the hardcore competition of cc b/c it makes me doubt myself a lot. especially when i see chance threads of people with like 4.8 and 2390's and tons of community service, ecs, etc. i just think like "why are you even asking."

:) i know what you mean.

and a_nicte, bravo! you have at least one hit on your thread, althrough perhaps not a bite on your line.

i hope i see you both at columbia! *especially you hotpiece :D

oooh, OfEternity, i see that you live in New York. do you absolutely love it? cuz i live in a small town in Ohio, so New York is like so exciting for me.

love... is a tricky word. (haha, right?) i don't love it the way you might when you come to nyc. they say when people from big cities go to live somewhere else, they can't sleep because it's too quiet at night. it's true. new york is loud and noisy and never, ever rests. sometimes it's stressful just taking the morning commute. it takes quite a bit to live here. (now do you know why columbia's admissions process is so selective?) on the other hand, you have the world in the palm of your hand. new york is exceedingly abundant in and often the center of everything one might want, from the sciences to film and theatre, from art to economics and business. it's nice not having to wonder whether i'll have the oppurtunity to do such-and-such. a new yorker tends to take that for granted. many people here get tired of the city. (indeed, many of my classmates turned down columbia for the one reason that they were sick of new york.) nyc has its share of cons along with the obvious pros.

i really want to got to school in New York. i used to live in Chicago, but i never got tired of it, so hopefully i won't get tired of ny (if i get into columbia of course)

oh btw i get kudos for being right. not about this. but nvm that.

for being right about my hotness??

oh you wont. only people born here really do.

why, how did you guess?

i guess you can get kudos for being right. i actually only chose that username b/c my best friend thought it would be funny...

post a pic hotpiece
