Future Dilemma

Hi all,

Here is my current situation, I'm graduating this spring from UT Austin with a 3.8GPA in Finance and 37 MCAT, but I have decided not to apply to medical school. Reasons being that for a few years (2-3 maybe more), I will need to stabilize the financial situation with my family. Therefore, I was curious to know. How long will my grades and scores stay valid so I can enter medical school when the time is right for me? Also I have a few recommendations and extracurricular (mostly research) but have no idea if med school will still accept these when I apply? I will be talking to a medical adviser about my situation, but I thought I would comment here to see if anybody has any suggestions or opinions on this matter.

Best regards,
RainyDays

Back when I took it, the MCAT was valid for three years. I haven't heard that that's changed.

37 MCAT? Impressive, as is your gpa.
