After accepting Rice's offer, I have not received any information whatsoever on what to do next. What do we do now? Just sit and wait for residential college info (when does that come out by the way?) to come out and wait for high school to end?

Hey! I’ll also be a freshman at Rice in the fall, and yeah, there’s some stuff to do. If you check your Esther, there’s a “Welcome To Rice” tab that has questionnaires and other forms to fill out. After that, the waiting begins, I guess, hahaha.

my Esther actually doesn’t have a “Welcome to Rice” tab D: I emailed registrar@rice.edu to clear that up. thanks guys!

According to another thread where you were pondering your college choices, I thought you were choosing between Harvard and UMadison where you were 2 credits from graduating with an econ major! May be that’s why you do not have a welcome to Rice tab! Then again in another thread you were wondering whether H’s waitlist will open and have a spot for someone with your stats.

Weird you felt the need to point that out and weird that you remember that hahaha. Sounds like you spend an awful lot of time here…

Yeah, I was waitlisted at Harvard, but I was curious as to what people thought between a two year state school and a four year Ivy school. I figured hypothetical-ness would discourage people from replying.

I chose Rice over Madison as well as a couple other places I was accepted because I have the option of graduating in two years at Rice as well.
