<p>Will it hurt me to choose undecided in the interests section of the Future Plans part of the CommonApp? I don't want schools to think I don't have interests, but I don't know what I want to major in. I don't know if this makes a difference, but I'm applying to liberal arts schools.</p>
<p>Undecided is fine. In relatively few cases (eg. when you have to apply to a specific department/school within a college) does projected major matter, as students often change their minds.</p>
