I am a freshman in high school and I am interested in the naval academy. I've checked out all the requirements and I know it's tough to get into but I might be able to do it. The only problem is I'm not sure what to major in for FBI. The academy offers 26 majors and language(Arabic or Russian) or poli sci sound interesting and would get me in. Which major would look better? I'm not totally sure what poli sci is so that could help. I just know that all of my goal is hard to reach. Extremely. So with the fantasy part out of the way, any tips?

Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is the way to go based on current FBI recruiting/needs.

The reason I say this is because the FBI looks for those with cyber, law, or accounting backgrounds. You can get the latter 2 after undergrad with a JD or an MBA (as a pathway to accounting). It’s very hard to not do a “hard” cyber background and go back to it and complete it in 2-3 years.

Political Science is basically the base for a JD degree. This degree COULD lead a job to the FBI, but not directly. I know this degree would be more useful to the CIA.
