Hi, I just dropped my fws thinking that I can take it spring term of my first year and fall term of my second year. I read somewhere that all engineers should finish fws in their first year. Can I just do as i said (taking it next term and in the fall term of my second year), since it seems that i cannot re-enroll in any of the fws classes. If I can, can I take an intro to engineering course although I am already taking intro to java? Thanks in advance! I really appreciate any advices.

Definitely take an FWS during the spring. And I’m pretty sure you can still enroll in FWS as a sophomore.

I think you can even take them in your senior year if you really want to push it back. And yes, you can still take intro to engineering course even though you are taking intro to java. They are not the same course! One will fulfill your intro to engineering requirement, while the other will fulfill your intro to programming requirement.
