<p>UGA re-calculates GPA differently. So what you see on transcript may be different from how UGA looks at your transcript. </p>
<p>TBH, and this is what ACCCEPTED students from UGA told me:</p>
<p>Your test scores?You may not know how you’ll get in through UGA. One person said they had a friend with a 36 on ACT , but outright denied in Early.No deferral, but denial.</p>
<p>GPA matters a LOT in UGA. Also, rigor of high school courses is really important. AP and IB is what they look in. Of course, they will see honors/pre-ap, they do not ignore this, however,they don’t emphasize/label honors on same level as rigor as AP/IB.</p>
<p>I say you apply to find out.UGA early action came out on September 2nd. I already finished mine September 4th(And if anyone ever asks, I had file of required info already finished ahead of time and proofread and edited and made sure no errors were inputted in application before applying)</p>
<p>Many recommend EA, but it’s up to you how you want to apply.</p>
