GAAP Open House (March 30-31st) for EA Accepted Students!!

Hey guys =] Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up on the GAAP information that went up recently. We should be getting it in the mail sometime this week (although I have yet to get mine). But for anyone who wanted to get a head start on hotels, tickets, and whatnot, the packet has A LOT of helpful stuff (hotel discounts, and directions by metro, taxi/car, and from airports).

Actual Info Packet: http://www.georgetown.edu/undergrad/admissions/GAAP/GAAP_Invite_Packet.pdf

RSVP Site:
https://www4.georgetown.edu/uis/keybridge/keyform/form.cfm?FormID=1261

If you have not received your packet yet, you can still RSVP, you just need the log-in and password. So email gaapinfo@georgetown.edu with the subject line: "Accepted Student Needs Log-In Info" and they will provide it to you before you receive the log-in and password by mail.

Hope that helps guys!

I wish they would provide housing for us. I'm going up by myself, so it's going to be harder to work around that.

I think if you contact them, they will be willing to have you stay with a student. I'd check that out.

Nope, already emailed and they said they couldn't due to high volume.

Thats a shame, if you know someone here you could just ask them, it may be your best bet.

So, who's going to the weekend?

I think I am

I'll be there.

Tell me how it is! I don't think I'll be able to go until April.

Yea, same here.

Dear Friends,

Go to the Hilltop, stand by the John Carroll statue for 10 minutes, taking in a 360 view of the campus. Watch students walk by. Only then, after that, should you say " Georgetown is not for me." I talked for 10 minutes in front of the statue on a snowy day with a very tall, very articulate, and frankly very scary looking guy and had no idea who he was until the NCAA tournament. I said to my girlfriend: "This is one of those (*&^& jocks?" She said -- yup. I was blown away. I have not seen him since, but I really want to see him and say " thanks!" That is the Hilltop spirit, I think. The bottom line is that GT is full of great people. Join us on the Hilltop.
