Games section improvement?

On the threads here, people seem to agree that the Games section is easily improvable, and perhaps even "perfectable," through enough practice/study. I've gone through both PS Bibles, and have ordered all of the available tests for practice...I haven't yet gone through a large number of practice exams, but I find that timing is consistently an issue for me on the Games section (and never on the other sections).

Should I expect my speed to naturally improve as I continue to practice more, or could I be approaching the games the wrong way? I've heard that in general, the Games sections from the 1990s are a little harder than they have been in the 2000s, but I'm still a little worried about being weak in this section, especially since it is the one in which people tend to improve quite drastically.

I'd appreciate any help or advice! Thanks!

Just keep practicing and don't give up. My advice is to do a game timed. Then go through the game untimed and exhaust all the inferences and hypotheticals, really come to know the game inside out. Then do the game again timed. This may seem like overkill but the trick is repetition. This will increase speed and confidence. It helped me at least.

is there a connection between these logics games and mathematical aptitude?
