Gap year student from India

I’m a female student in India who wants to major in computer science. I have decent ECs and I decided to take a gap year. however, my academic scores are low.
9th- 88% (CBSE)
10th- 96% (CBSE)
11th- 85% (Maharashtra Board) with 190/200 in computer science
And Im expecting around 80-85% in 12th Boards.
ACT- 34
SAT Subject tests - 800 each in physics, chemistry and mathematics
And I also plan on giving APs this may.

I have decent ECs, I am a published author and have had my work published by the largest poetry organisation in India, have a few content writing internships, participated in quite a few MUNs, know a few programming languages and have made various machine learning models such as breast cancer detection, diabetes detection etc.

I am aiming at top public universities, like Purdue, University of Washington, University of Michigan etc.
Would the low score affect my chances of admission in any way?

I am not seeing any low scores. You seem to be a competitive candidate.

The main downside that I see is that the schools you listed are all public and highly competitive for computer science, which is going to make getting financial aid (if you need it) a challenge.

Thank you for your reply. I am not looking for financial aid, what I meant to say is it is lower compared to other students. Most of my friends in cbse have scored 90-95%, whereas it is really tough to get so in HSC, and I doubt if that would affect my application.

If you’re not looking for FA as an international you’re more attractive as an applicant.

Your grades are more than decent; test scores are great
It will probably come down to your essays and recos ultimately.
Good Luck
