Most of the students take a gap year after finishing their high school. Now the main problem is what should we do (specifically) in our gap year? ANY SUGGESTIONS??

Do whatever you can. Live your life. Go to ACAP, Everest base camp, The Last Resort-try the bungee and canyon swing, go to Pokhara, do the new Zip line thingy, go to those famous temples in rural areas of Nepal like Gosainkunda, Muktinath, etc, do/try everything you can. You might never get such a long break at such an age.
But then again, focusing on your college application, get involved in something that interests you. It doesn’t necessarily have to be being a social worker or anything. I tutored a lot, did couple other jobs, and made a lot of money and enjoyed my gap year. But I was equally involved with some other work, and never to forget my college application. Hangout with your friends and enjoy your days with them but then again start writing some general college application essays or your personal statement. Shortlist your dream colleges and your safety colleges. Research about them and find out what their trends are in accepting foreign students and giving them aid. Communicate early with colleges, and practice SATs. You’ve got a year but not all time of the year is available for college application. Only about half of it is what you’ll get to work on your college application. So utilize that. It’s never too early to start working on your college essays and practicing SATs (unless you write stellar essays in a day and score high on practice tests).

^That’s what I did.
