Gap Year

I’m seriously considering taking a gap year. I enrolled at Tufts and was interested in doing their bridge year program, but I’m afraid it will be too expensive. I found another program that is soooo much cheaper. It’s called Adelante…has anyone ever heard of this organization or interned through them? I’m trying to get a feel for other peoples’ experiences and if Adelante is a legit organization. Is anyone else from other colleges or Tufts planning to take a gap year? Adelante looks so great, but I don’t know any other people my age that are doing it! I think it would be much better if I knew other soon-to-be college students were going to participate as well. I’m really interested in interning in Barcelona. Anyone else?

(aka I don’t want to room with complete strangers in their mid to late 20s or have no social life because there aren’t other interns my age…lemme know!)

Tufts Bridge year sounds like the best option for you.
Rather than worrying about costs, what about asking Tufts about specific costs for you (wrt // FA package from them)?

@chanandlerbong23 Please send an application to the Tufts program! I’m in the program right now, and Tufts is very eager to have people do the program and has been very generous with financial aid.

More than half of us recieved full financial packages, which includes a stipend. I also know one person was able to negotiate for more aid from Tufts. If you have any questions about the Tufts program please let me know
