<p>It seems like a majority of people who are getting the notifications are in GA and CA. Does anyone think that they’re sending out the notification by state?</p>
<p>They say if you call 1 877 690 4677 and they tell you to press 2 if you’re a nominee, nominator, etc. Once you press 2, it’ll ask if you’re a nominee, nominator, etc. Press 1 if you’re a nominee. After that, it’ll ask for your registration code, then your SSN. After than, if you get the 0-5 message, supposedly you are a finalist, if you get “letter has been sent home”, you are not a finalist. not sure if this is true though but it might be true from past threads</p>

<p>based on past threads, does anybody know how long after finalists receive their emails do people receive a notification saying that they have not been chosen?</p>

<p>I’m a Hispanic from Texas and I got the “letter in the mail” notification on the phone. 
How depressing, I feel like I really deserve this too! Oh well, it happens. Here’s hoping that “letter in the mail” is a semifinalist notification!</p>
