Do we have to submit an official transcript sent by our school or do we just have to fill out the one on the app?!?!?!?
@dontdodrugs only the one on the app. if you become a finalist, then you must send in your transcript.
So I’m looking over my essays and I notice that I only mentioned on subject I’ve had difficulty with in my second essay. The prompt did says “subjects” though. Do you think this is a bad thing? Be honest…
Hey guys I’m super new to this forum! I am done with my essays but does anyone know what to do about the time-frames they put for the community service/ job section? For example, I’ve volunteered at a hospital since 2012 and have around 300 hours but it will only give me an option to put a time frame, does that mean I have to put the hours set in that time? Do I just put the rest of my hours in the description?
I know this is very late, and I’m sorry if this has already been asked but I’m literally checking it again and again and again and right before I decide to submit it I always go back to re-check it. I am beyond paranoid, hahaha (as I’m sure you guys might be too).
Any help would be great! and the deadline was extended- woop woop (more time to check for the 100th time!)

Oh my goodness I did the same exact thing for both essay 1 and 2, and unfortunately I did not change essay 1 (just kept it to one subject) and for the second, I added one more to it… I am wondering if this is a bad thing as well…
you can write one. I saw winning essays that just focused on one essay.

Yikes, spotted two typos on my Gates essays after submitting. Idk, how I screwed that up. Hopefully they don’t cost me 
I literally wrote the essays in less than a week… I’m so nervous… aghh… I hope I get this!

@rachaell, no biggie…my son started 2-4 weeks out and he was awarded the scholarship.
