<p>Yeah, we sure did get screwed over this year. But I agree with Mika, we got this far, and we're as deserving as anyone else out there. We have to keep hoping. If it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out, but we gave it a good go, no?</p>
<p>60,000. That is so heartbreaking. It's not just harder to get into schools now, but harder to win scholarships so we can afford to go to those schools.</p>

<p>remember the kid that said senior year was the easiest...well they definitely lied.....i had to prepare to interview...write college essay....do scholarship....wait for college to reply...study for ap test...study for school...and now.......wait for the freaking scholarship people to tell me if i am a semifinalist...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh................</p>

<p>Last year, semi-finalists were notified on the 12th by email. I'm thinking we'll start getting notified between the 10th-14th.</p>
