GE FMP good enough work experience for top MBA?

I hear that GE's Financial Management Program is pretty prestigious. Will I have a shot at a top 15 business school if I work at GE, given that the rest of my application is solid?

From everything I've read about the FMP it will get you in a good MBA program, however, many have said that GE frowns on you getting an MBA if you are in the FMP program, because they figure you don't need it, or are about to leave.

Is the experience good enough to get the CFA charter?

No, you MUST have 3 years at Goldman, Blackstone or Lazard. Anything else is completely unacceptable. Otherwise, good luck getting your MBA at SUNY Binghamton.

Note the sarcasm here.
