Is it bad to have your counselor be your nominator if you are selected to move on?
I’d recommend someone very visible in your community. A principal at a minimum.
I applied to the GE Reagan Foundation scholarship, but I was wondering if this particular foundation has something like a list or chart of what they grade on??? I was wondering because I have really good grades and scores and pretty good community service and stuff, but my family makes more than average financially, so I am wondering if I even have a chance…anybody know??? Thanks!
Depends on what “more than average” is. Over 150k/yr, probably not.
Close to 100k/yr, maybe.
GE-Reagan is extremely community service heavy.

I didn’t even bother applying to AXA.
I did win state for Horatio Alger and waiting to hear from a bunch of others.
