Guys, I got this job offer from Vector Marketing. They say I can make $15-16 and all I have to do is sell some cutlery. I do have to pay about $140 for the demonstration kit, but what's $140 when I can make a boat load back? Also, I can be my own boss. Feel free to share your summer jobs here as well.

Well, this really isn’t a summer job since I’ve been doing it since April, but I will also be doing it in the summer haha.

I work at a Kumon Center as an assistant for a whole $7.50 an hour! Hahahha. So my summer will be filled with regrets as I wonder why I didn’t get accepted to a summer research program.

Do you live near a research university, big or small? You certainly don’t need a program to do research. You also don’t need a research university if your interested in math or computer science.

Well, by “research universities” I meant like one of the colleges offering summer programs. For example, I applied to Hofstra’s Summer Science Research Program, but I never got a response.

Yeah, I guess you really don’t **need **these programs, but they do offer their lab equipment which is useful. I was hoping to do research in biology so a university could prove to be of help.

I really don’t know how I would get started for math research, haha.

Anyway, this is diverting from the OP’s topic. So, what are you doing this summer, haha?

Josh, I feel badly for you. You have to PAY for their product and HOPE to sell it. The product is nice, but it’s REALLY expensive. Please PM to tell me how much money, in profits, you actually make by the end of the summer.
