Gender Disparity in Applicants... How advantageous is it to be a female applicant?

I’m a female Asian transfer applicant. According to their transfer profile here:

Only 28% of admitted transfers are female. Is that because there is a lack of female transfer applicants or less of a need for them? How advantageous is it to be female?

I read a few posts here and some with high GPAs are rejected. Usually they are either White male or Asian male. Is there a reason in this?

Did you look at this table? It’s hard to tell but I don’t think being a female is an advantage.
