gender studies question

Ultimate goal is law school after UCLA, so a major to me isn't exactly critical. I'm applying as a comp lit. major, but just stumbled upon gender studies, which essentially has igetc courses as the prereqs. Is that right? Anyone else majoring in this? The acceptance numbers look good too. Lastly can a transfer student apply to two different majors in hopes of getting into either one?

I applied to UCLA as a gender studies major and I want to go to law school too. The only prereq is an intro to women’s studies class. Also, I know that you can apply with an alternate major if you have TAP. Good luck!

@uclammg Sweet. So where did you find an intro to women’s studies class? It’s not at WLAC. I feel like I’m doing something sneaky here by taking this major, but jesus, it’s a cake walk, why not? I can just switch to English after I get in. Crazy.

The class is at Santa Monica College. Yes, it’s sneaky, and you might ruin the chances for people who actually want to major in gender studies. Also, I don’t know how easy it will be to switch to an impacted major, but good luck.
