WOW you people take a lot of APs...at my school none are offfered until junior year, and even then there are only two. senior year i think there are like 6 choices...
I'm in one right now that I don't think anybody on this thread has posted yet: AP Studio Art Portfolio...and I'm taking French and English next year...hahah wow I feel dumb now

Don't worry. I have a life... I'm also a pretty good varsity athlete. I don't waste ANY time, and by that I don't mean that I don't hang with friends (because I do) but I mean sit around and do nothing.

I use my summers.
I use my winters.

etc. It's doable still having a life AND having fun.

Junior: Ap English (and weighted US hist)
Senior: AP French, AP English Lit, AP Psych, AP Studio 2-d

I wanted to take AP Econ/Gov or poly sci (college class here) and AP Euro during high school but it never worked out. :\ If I could have redone things, I would have taken pre-cal Jr year and AP Stats Sr year.

I think that's all of them

I'd say no more than 5 per year (counting Macro/Micro as one (together) and Physics C: Mechanics and Electricity together.

I took 3 junior year: AP US (5) , AP Physics B (4) and AP English Language (4)
I'm taking 5 senior year: AP Macro/Micro, AP Chemistry, AP Environmental Science, AP English Lit, and AP BC Calc.

I wish I had taken comp sci AP instead of lame-o BCIS (stupid class where you learn how to use microsoft word -_-)

So far I've taken 5, but with my next year's schedule, that will be 12 altogether.

I currently have two Ap classes. This third marking period I'm not doing excellent in neither.
Ap Biology: Looks like I will get a C in the class third marking period. I'm not sure if that will be neutral or hurt me with the schools I apply to.
Ap Human Geography: Everything was easy, then I started to get a large work load piled on me. I still have a lot of late work to turn in, and the teacher happens to take off half the points sometimes with late work. I have gotten a A in the class all marking periods, though third marking period when all is turn in I may end up with a B. I'm not sure how universities will look at this.

Usually if I don't make all A's in every class I know my chances of acceptance have only lowered. Then again, universities only see semester grades and not marking period.

Junior

I haven't taken any so far. Mostly because I lived abroad during freshman and sophomore year and spent this year (junior year) finishing graduation requirements D:
I'm planning on taking 4 next year (AP Calc BC, AP Physics C, AP Stats, and APUSH). I wanted to take more but Calc and Physics take up two classes each :/
