I'm going to be in my 3rd year as a bio sci major at UC Davis but I'm thinking of switching to a social science or Arts/Hum major, because I'm not enjoying biology and science. I'm a strong writer with eclectic taste and feel that science is too provincial. The last thing I want to do is work in a research lab all day for the rest of my life, nor do I have enough passion to go into medicine.

I don't know a lot about business but I'm thinking of getting into it. The major I'm considering switching to is IR, because the topic interests me.

Could anyone guide me as to what kind of jobs I could find as a IR major going into business? What is the business field like? My GPA is rather low for SocSci majors because of all the rigorous premed and science courses I've taken (Science GPA 3.2, NonScience GPA 3.8-9). How will that affect me, and what should I do?

Thanks!!!
