Hey guys, I'm a senior in high school and I just wanted to get some feedback on my chances for some colleges and how I appear overall as a student. I haven't been feeling too positive about myself lately so I've been pretty fidgety waiting for decisions to come out.

Anyway - I'm female, from California, and of Asian descent. I've been told though that since I'm not Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Indian, or Vietnamese that the Asian thing might actually help me rather than harm me - no idea if this has any credence at all.

I have a ~3.7 GPA, unweighted. I think this is a bit iffy and even though I know it's not the end of the world it still worries me. I have gotten mostly As, a handful of Bs, but what brought down my GPA was 2 Cs I got in a difficult AP science course my sophomore year. Otherwise, my GPA weighted is 4.3. I'm an IB Diploma candidate. I'm in the top 10 percent of the class at my school, and I received a 2330 on my SAT.

I've also been told that my ECs are a bit lacking (I don't think so, but everyone's got their own opinion, right?). I'm the president of 2 clubs, and I'm also a member of 3 others, and have been since my freshman year. I intern for a non-profit, I'm on a city committee, I participate in Quiz Bowl, and I have my own (tiny, rather than small!) business. Athletics is, I think, the biggest worry I have. I have done everything from track to dance to cheerleading throughout high school and I worry this makes me look uncommitted.

So, the schools I've applied to are:

Boston U
Northwestern
U Maryland, College Park
UCLA
UC Berkeley
UCSD
Columbia
Brown
U Chicago
Georgetown
Brandeis
U Miami
Johns Hopkins

What do you think my chances are at these schools, and how do I look overall? Thanks for reading - I know all of this was really long!
