Is there a link somewhere that I can see how Yale UG students did in placement in business schools?

Also, could somebody clarify the relationship between UG and grad school? I have heard that it is harder to (looked down upon) going to grad school at your UG college (ex. harder to get into NYU MBA if you were an undergraduate at NYU). I have only heard this offhand, but I wanted to figure out if this is true.

I’m pretty sure Yale has 2nd best placement overall in ALL top-level grad schools, but of course, Business school might be different than the overall placement. I’ve seen it from a reputable source, but I don’t have the link offhand.

But I’m not sure if I understand your second paragraph. The way I’ve always heard it, its much easier to get into, say, Harvard Grad if you went to Harvard, or Yale Grad if you went to Yale, or Stanford Grad if you went to Stanford–for all Grad programs, not just Business. Its been said on here, though, that prospective employers may look down on that. I’m sort of skeptical about that as a general rule, but I can understand the rationale for it.

Yale places excellently (like MSauce, what I’ve seen is #2 behind Harvard for ALL grad schools).

The undergrad/grad same institution bias is overstated. Most Yalies do NOT go to Yale for grad school because Yale is primarily an undergrad institution. Nevertheless, they get into grad schools at very high rates.

OK, thanks. The UG/grad relationship I have just heard offhand, nothing concrete. I just wanted to know whether you were at a disadvantage applying to Yale grad as a Yale UG.
