Hi The reason I am asking this question is honesty I am so nervous and wanted to get some perspective,
I am sophomore in community college located in NY and interested in transferring to very competitive CS programs in nation such as; Carnegie Mellon, Cornell, Brown, university of Illinois etc.
Currently I have 4.0 gpa I completed and will be completing classes such as Calc I,II,III , general physics I,II general chemistry I, intro cs, advance programming with c++, object oriented programming, data structures, discrete structures, discrete math, computer architecture, neuroscience and couple flexible core and english. Also I finished all this classes in 3 semesters and 2 quarters between.
If we move to my extracurricular activities,
I am City University of New York research scholar funded research opportunity,
Working on AI based wireless network security system.
I won local math competition again funded,
I received couple private scholarships,
I am president of student government in my campus
I am only student member of committee that searching for my college’s new President
Part of a group that only accepts 25 students from 18,000 applicants
I can list more but I feel like not necessary I have bunch of leadership positions. I would be more then happy if you provide me an honest opinion … thank you for your time
