Geometry Book?

I want to get ahead of this coming year by studying geometry this summer.
So, what is the best self-teaching geometry book that I can get?
Thanks.

I would advise getting the book that your school uses. This way, you can know what to expect on the test out. Geometry is an extremely simple course so I don’t think it is necessary to start in the summer. Good luck.

Actually I disagree with Admires, I personally thought geometry was BY FAR the hardest math course I have ever taken. I got A’s in alegbra, trig/alebgra 2, precalc, and AP Computer Science. Also, I am doing AP Stat and Calc AB next year, and I am getting a head start. (So far it is easy) But i, Geometry was a destroyed me. In the begijnning, geometry was cool and easy since the first topic was logic. But things got down hill with proofs, and I ended up getting a B+ in that class (and that B+ was earned by studing, something I never had to do for math before) The concepts weren’t hard, the 2-column proofs were. Get a head start my friend, get a textbook, and pre-study the course. Get the Geometry book called “Geometry Houghton Mifflin School” and learn how to do 2 colkumn proofs!

For me geometry and alg2/trig was the easiest.
I just took the course in 8th grade and was top 1% of the class all the time (my teacher ranked us every week).
It’s pretty simple. Just know your postulates, theorems, constructions, and how to write proofs. As long as you know all the postulates/theorems, writing proof is a joke (you just gotta think a little).

Don’t worry about it. You will do fine. :)
