George Washington University or Rutgers

So i am planning on apply to GWU early decision which is really binding. I want to do grad school after i get my bachleors degree. If i attend Rutgers (since its cheaper and closer to home for me) and then go to grad school will my chance of getting in the same grad school be lower because Rutgers is not as great as george washington.

What im trying to say is if i want to go to grad school does it matter where i got my bachleors from? Grad School is so expensive and so is GWU. if i go to rutgers i will be in a less debt but will getting a bachloers degree from rutgers decrease my chances of getting into a good grad school rather than getting a bachleors from george eashington university?

Rutgers has a stellar reputation and would not hurt your chances at all of getting into grad school. Not sure why you would think that. (I assume this is the New Brunswick campus)

No, they are close in reputation and they’re both similar experiences. You’re smart to save your money. It’s up to you how much work you want to put into your undergrad experience–either way you’ll do great if you’re serious.

I would argue that Rutgers has the better reputation among grad school adcoms. It is a really good school, and the rational choice here.
