Hello! I'm a high school junior and I'm just trying to get a gage on my chances as I'm signing up for next year's courses.

This quarter my grades have sunk because I've been away and sick, but in general I get As and B+s, I do a few extra curricular activities passionately, and I have a lot of leadership stuff.

Unweighted GPA for freshman and sophomore years: 4.02 (we go by the Manitoba GPA scale)
Weighted GPA for freshman and sophomore years: 4.48

Freshman classes (mostly nondescript prereqs with the hardest level available in each): English IH, Global IH, Spanish II, French I, Physics H (this is an upperclassman course in my school and that's noted on my transcript), Health and gym, Band, and Advanced Alg. II H

Sophomore classes (again, hardest level available): English IIH, Spanish IV H (skipped Spanish III), French II, Chemistry H, gym, Advanced Pre-Calc H, AP World History

Junior classes:
AP Bio, AP Calc AB, AP Lang Comp, AP US history, AP Spanish Language, French III, Photo I and II

I'm also very involved in my youth group both locally and internationally, do Key Club and volunteer with children with special needs, am in Model UN, tutor, and play three instruments.

BUT I'm not a good test taker. On the Jan. SAT I got 690 CR, 730M, 760W, 2180 total. I took it again yesterday but may cancel my scores because i don't think I did well.

Any ideas on my chances for those schools (georgetown, American, UPenn, and a scholarship to UMD)? Also, any recommendations to help?

oh and next year as of now I'm planning on taking 4APs, French IVH, International Relations, and Moral Issues in Lit H and I want to go into International Policy as my major or something similar

Thanks so much!!!
