I think I showed my passion for GU especially in my interview. It’s the only school I applied to. I really love it and I guess they could see that in my essay and interview (I hope) lol and ya a bit of luck on my side.

It was about as long as my other essays (bad move on my part) but really explained what I’d done and how important it was to me (9/10). Personal statement - talked about running and volunteering, kinda blah, didn’t really set me apart at all (6/10) SFS Essay - wrote about the AIDS epidemic in Africa and what Global North countries could be doing to help control it. Well-written and well-researched but mentioned topics that might not’ve been best for a jesuit school like contraceptives and circumcision (8/10)

[ *] Teacher Recommendation: My English teacher wrote it for me. I read mine and thought it was pretty good, but after reading one she wrote for a friend, I realized mine was REALLY good. She used lots of specific examples and she wrote a lot. (9/10)

[ *] Additional Rec: from Senator Cafaro, a Georgetown Grad. Didn’t see it but assume it was alright
