Georgetown Class of 2018 (HS Class of 2014)

emailed many of you with acceptance confirmations and pictures to prove ur in the system but nah i dont exist. if name didnt come up ur either not in system yet or you were differed

and by many i mean like 4 out of 15

I applied to the college. I’m definitely in the mindset that I will be deferred. My best friend/neighbor applied EA as well, and she has been receiving emails from her admissions counselor . . . emails that I did not receive. I’m taking that as her being accepted.

Can anyone confirm Hoyablue15? Also, if anyone receives a decision from HoyaBlue15, can you possibly post it?

text ur other friends here and have them do it

Did anyone get an email from hoyablue?

@Luna Hopefully not all accepted applicants receive personal emails from their admissions counselors…that would be a bit excessive.

Let’s all just patiently wait until next weekend (it’ll fly by) and try not to exploit the system or whatever. truce

Those people could just have been in summer programs, or he could still be bluffing

@lunahoyagold

Do you happen to know what the admissions counselor said to your friend in the emails? I received some emails from mine but didn’t think much of them.

Does anyone have any insight on when we we will receive letters? I heard multiple stories, ranging from sometime this week to late next week.

Someone should call admissions and see if they set up net id if accepted

am I the only person who had no contact with an admissions counselor since the application was completed…

@aro1419 Just thank you for applying. She was then given a student contact via her counselor. I may be looking to into it, but I did not receive an email like that at all. Stress level: midnight.

@godiva i haven’t either. maybe that’s a bad sign but honestly i don’t think they’d email every single accepted person…

@godiva123 I had absolutely none. I’m hoping the significance is that I had no holes in my application. However, the student contact aspect concerns me.

Keep in mind that sometimes admissions specialist answer questions on this website. Do not jeopardize your integrity. You will receive your letter at the proper time.

I haven’t had any either. I think it’s extremely rare for the admissions counselor to email like that, and I don’t necessarily think it means anything.

This is getting ridiculous they need to send out the letters already!!!

Someone should certainly call admissions and ask when letters are being sent. Why on Earth would they pick a Sunday?

I think that they make the 15th the date for every year. However, last year people began to get letters as early as the 13th, so hopefully we will too!
