In Ithaca, NY. No letter yet. Tomorrow marks the day of me sitting my my mailbox sobbing waiting for the mail delivery person.

The mailtruck would come super late today…

I do not know how I will be able to focus during the ACT tomorrow. Oh my . . . my anxiety will hit a high.

Aren’t the letters sent first class mail? The link in post 357 concerns priority mail. Which is it?

Ah… and so the madness begins!

Are there only acceptances and deferrals at this time?

Yes, cavmom.

I live super close to georgetown and I didn’t get it today! Is it possible that there is a separate truck for packages and just mail? Cause all they gave me was a package and some ads. I thought it was weird that they didn’t deliver any regular mail.

i almost had an anxiety attack today because one letter i got in the mail had a stamp that looked similar to the georgetown seal on it. i don’t think this bodes well for when i get my actual letter.

Did anyone in virginia get their letter?

Nothing in mail today. Ohio.

I am not mentally prepared for a deferral.

Nothing today in Massachusetts! I really hope it comes tomorrow!!

Can someone help me find out who my regional admissions counselor is? I live in Ohio

Call or email your college counselor, who should have the info. I could not find it on the website.

Problem: I have no email records that show who my college counselor is, a fact that is leading me to think I am going to be deferred. As irrational as that is, it is not comforting to know I don’t have that information. I asked my friend who also applied for the email, but she is not giving it to me (frustrated = understatement of the year). If anyone could help me, that would be great.

Wow, Luna, that’s no friend.

I just googled Georgetown Admission Reps and this is one of the sites listed with some info:

http://uadmissions.georgetown.edu/document/1242792277481/Summer12Newsletter.pdf

It is from 2012 but if you scroll to page 2, Jaclyn Wright is listed as the rep (starting in 2012) for Ohio.

Tried to find her email address but was unsuccessful.

Good luck!

Definitely NO friend.

so no one ever gets denied from georgetown early?
