Mail came…I got deferred
does anyone know how late they end the calling for tonight?

deferral in Houston
Accepted!! Couldn’t be more excited!
sorry@padrelover
@padrelover Maryland. Yeah you’re probably right
@canes16 where did you find those statistics? and do you know what they were for SFS?
Hello friends! I’m a current student at Georgetown and I helped out with the calling today so here are some answers to your questions. Only accepted students get calls; the calling ended today at 8, and it’ll go from 6-8 tomorrow and then from 7-9 on Wednesday. We don’t do it alphabetically at all, but we do do it (sort of) geographically. Today we did the east coast, the south, and the midwest, and tomorrow we’ll do the west coast and the people who didn’t answer. WIth that said, though, some people ask to call their home state specifically so it isn’t super regulated. Good luck everyone, and congrats to those who got in today!
Deferred a.k.a. REJECTED
Thanks for the info @RandallGrace ! Is Texas included in “the south?”
Nothing in Dallas
Nothing in Dallas :’(
^^^True, nothing in Dallas
Did they call on home phone or cell phone??
Got mine in Indiana today- some notes for people who over-analyze:
Both acceptances and deferrals come in the same size envelope. Small, white envelope with 2 or 4 pieces of paper in it (depending on acceptance/deferral). If you really want to know if you got in before opening the mail (if you have the letter in front of you that is), then message me I will let you know the postage $$ (I don’t want to post it on here directly).
On another note, remember: DECISIONS DO NOT DEFINE YOU. YOU DEFINE YOU. That’s all.
Dear mailman: I love you and I appreciate your work, but pLEASE SHOW UP ALREADY IT’S 7 PM
Oh my God then how on earth did I get accepted with an ACT score of 31 and as an international applicant!!! Start to feel they might have mistakenly send me that email…
Also haven’t received anything in Dallas. I haven’t heard of anyone in Dallas getting a decision. Kinda weird…
@CindyW98 Congratulations!! Although mistakenly sending acceptance emails has happened in the past, I think you’re in the clear
