Same here, no one has ever applied. Hey guys, are you Catholic? Just curious.

I don't think the admissions officer even see the date that your application arrived.

The 15th is going to be a horrible day for me, cuz I'm also finding out about BC, I have 2 finals that day, and 2 on the 16th. At least my Christmas vacation starts the 16th. Two people from my school got in last year, and I dunno if anyone else applied, but one of them had almost perfect SATs and was really involved with all kinds of political stuff, and the other one was really involved with law and business stuff. They turned down Georgetown for Yale and NYU's Stern. So hopefully the fact that they turned down Georgetown won't hurt me.

7 kids got in from my school last year, its pretty amazing actually, and we are going for 8 this year

netshark,

I don't know about the earlier the better thing. One of my friend's moms is an alum. interviewer from Harvard, and she told my friend she had to get her app in before December 15.

I personally don't believe that turning it in early SHOULD help you, nor do I think it's true...but just what I've heard.

right. As far as I'm concerned, anything before the deadline is fair game, but it still makes you wonder...

Practically no one from my school applies to Georgetown. In the past 8 or so years, only two people have gone there.

U live in Cali? thats prob why....we live in NJ, and my history teacher is a Gtown interviewer and has some "connections" (or so he says)

Yep, I'm a NorCal native.

thats cool, i live on the coast of NJ, basically on a beach town. U live up by the mountanous area of cali?

Nope, I live really close to Oakland (right nextdoor to Berkeley, across the Bay from San Francisco).

brenner,

I'm actually an atheist! (a true blooded one too, I don't celebrate Christmas or Easter)

My dad was surprised when he found out my #1 choice was a Jesuit school..but I figure these days everybody's fairly progressive, so I should be alright.

Yeah, you would be amazed the variety in catholic schools. Look at georgetown vs Notre Dame. You would hate ND as an atheist. It is around 80% catholic.

Hey guys!
My name is Lauren and I'm from Mandeville, Louisiana. I just joined this site, because I also applied EA to Georgetown. Good luck to all of you!

--Lauren

Hey-

My name's Lauren too! Happy to have you here. Don't mind the nervous jibberish we all post. What school of GTown are you applying to?

Hey Lauren!
Don't apologize for the nervous talk, because I've been counting down since I sent my application to Georgetown in October. I am SO nervous. I applied to the college. How about you?

--Lauren

I'm applying to the SFS. I'm insanely nervous too! The more I think about it, the more nauseous I become... Where else are you applying?

-Lauren :)

No one for School of Nursing and Health Studies?

Sorry to burst your bubble, Tony.

haha no thats great, because i know that they only take 180 people
