I sent an email several times and they responded like a week later on average. Calling them would be your best bet.

I’m SO nervous. I’m hoping my interest in bioethics makes me unique…

i have a question, im applying RD and im wondering if i need to have my interview before the RD deadline??

NHS!

Someone asked about how to find their interviewer in a place like Starbucks. Funny story… my interviewer was actually late, so I ended up walking up to a random stranger and asking if she was my interviewer. It turns out she wasn’t, but she actually asked me a bunch of questions that helped calm me down and prep me. Things just work out, don’t sweat it :] And my interviewer found me about five minutes later.

How does Georgetown notify students of decisions on Dec. 15? Email?

Hey all! I applied EA to Georgetown (like all of you) and am SO nervous about receiving that letter on Dec. 15–yikes! Like others said, I’d rather be pleasantly surprised than disappointed, but getting into Georgetown would be a dream come true! Do any of you guys think submitting an Arts Supplement in Theater will help?? Women’s studies major all the way!!!

AmericanZ:

Unless you’re an international student, Georgetown only sends out snail mail letters which can come from the 12th to (I’ve heard as late as) the 17th.

Waiting really is a drag, isn’t it :-P?

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone on here!

So what’s the process for if you get accepted EA, what do you then do from there?

20 Days!!! :)

Happy Thanksgiving all!

I can’t wait 20 days…this suspense is KILLING me…oye!

Does anyone know what the deferred leter will say? Like will it say “Sorry, you’ve been deferred” or “Congrats! You’ve been deferred!”

I hope it says “Congrats! You’ve been deferred.”
It puts a positive spin to it. 8)

found this on last year’s EA thread

http://img685.imageshack.us/img685/1429/001yt.jpg

…i need to stop spending hours a day on this website

…well that’s depressing. :(

Yeah…I think I prefer “Congrats! You’ve been deferred!”
Honestly, I always thought that Georgetown only deferring people in early action would be nice, but as December 15th draws nearer, I feel like I would almost rather that they reject people as well. It seems sort of mean to drag along people who have no chance of getting in. If they don’t think I’m a good candidate, I’d rather hear it now than four months from now.

hey guys! I applied to Gtown EA too! I’m sooooo nervous and excited!

Good luck to you all!

Oh, just wondering… any of you guys also applied to other Jesuit schools like Fordham and BC???

You know, having a mental image of a rejection letter from Georgetown, plus a visual image like the one submitted above, isn’t going to help your chances. Focusing on a negative outcome only structures that outcome, in seed form.

Anybody have a copy of an acceptance letter they can post?

Good luck to everybody and Think Positive!

Haha I heard both the acceptance and rejection letters are pretty cold and business like.

Just thought it was an interesting find Fairfielder, no need to pysch me out.
