Georgetown Essay about School Activity

so im applying to georgetown for the class of 2017 and i was trying to get ahead on my essay writing. One of the questions asks to discuss a school or summer activity. I was wondering if my violin playing, which i started in 4th grade in school would count as a school activity. I also wanted to talk in my essay about how it expanded to other parts of my life and i got lessons, joined my school orchestra and string ensemble, youth orchestras, our districts and regional orchestras, music camps, etc. i feel like it could really show my musical side?
Thanks in advanced for your input.

I’ll read it.

Oh, sorry. I completely missed what you were asking.

When they say school activity, I’m pretty sure they mean high school. If it was done in a high school program, then that’s fine. And I’m sure you can start with its development from elementary school as background.

okay thanks!

I think it would count. It just says the activity you were most involved in. I did mine on an internship
