GEORGETOWN here i come

<p>im an asian male attending a large public school in souther california
chance me at georgetown</p>

sat-reading(690), math (790) combined score of 1480 (georgetown doesn't look at writing)
subject-math 2c(750), ush(710), korean (800)
GPA-4.6 (only two b's during three years in a IB program)</p>

<p>sports/clubs
wrestling varsity all three years (MVP during junior year and captain senior year with major tournament entries and qualifications, qualified for CIF in california)
played track, soccer, football, and basketball throughout middle school and half of high school
officer for christian club and involved in ACA DECA
founded MUN at my school</p>

first generation immigrant
im at harvard summer program rite now
family goes through economic hardship

super recomendations from counselor and teachers
expecting to be a national merit semi finalist in cali</p>

<p>so is georgetown a good fit for me?</p>

<p>What is your GPA scale? I take it your 4.6 is a weighted GPA? You did not make that clear. If not then its a 4.6 out of 5 correct?</p>

<p>Yeah what is your unweighted? And you seem like you have a pretty good shot. My only suggestion would be to raise that 690 up like 30 points or something to get you over the 700 level and over the 1500 level. Besides that, looks pretty solid to me if you can sell it like that on your essay and app!!!</p>
