Georgetown Housing for Transfers

I'll be attending Georgetown next year, as a junior transfer. I'm a little concerned about the housing situation. Is my only option to live off-campus, if no space is available on campus? (I'll fill out the housing request form, but juniors don't always get campus housing.)

Are there any on-campus alternatives, like themed housing (French House or a co-op)? Is there any themed housing off-campus, but still reasonably close?

Hey man, I'm in the same exact situation (junior transfer) and I would like to know about this. I know when I went to the information session, my tour guide was a current junior living on-campus. I also know that Gtown sponsers a off-campus housing search for new students in July or something

please don't worry too much
last year they housed most, if not all the transfers who wanted housing
i was placed into the largest apartment on campus as a junior transfer and it was awesome

Really? How big is it? Can I look at your room when I am there in 2 weeks? lol

that's a relief to hear, flying! did you have any choice about where you were placed?

Don't think it fully answers your guys' question, but I was a sophomore transfer last year and I got housing without a problem. My junior transfer friends almost all got housing as long as they applied for it (most of them got stuck in LXR).

Make sure that you pay attention to the other deadlines though, if you intend to stay on-campus for senior year, the deadline for housing is generally in October.
