Georgetown or Brown

Okay, so I was accepted to Georgetown, Brown, and BC Honors, but I've pretty much narrowed it down to Georgetown/Brown.

I'll be studying Applied Mathematics next year, which Brown is certainly stronger in. Brown is probably stronger academically overall, and also has no education requirements, so I can take pretty much whatever I want (Georgetown has certain requirements in theology, social sciences, etc). Brown also has engineering, which would be nice to take a few courses in in case I decide to go into an engineering graduate program.

I really felt more comfortable on Georgetown's campus - the people were more like me. The gap in education is certainly not too large, and I feel like Georgetown's connections to DC will let me see a lot of the ways my degree could be used. I also feel like I'd meet a lot better connections and have a lot more doors open in the DC area. I would really love to go to a school with as good of a basketball program as Georgetown. Oh, and the women are much better looking at Georgetown.

So those are the positives I see for both schools. What would you recommend? Anything I forgot or you disagree with? Thanks!

My advice is to go to admissions days at both and then make up your mind. Even if you go to Brown, you'll have plenty of opportunities to live in DC during summers and after school so take that into account. DC summers attract students from all over the country.

I would go to GTown if I were you
