Georgetown or McGill?

Major ?

10 chars.

just in general... which is better for undergrad?

I'm not too keen on Georgetown, but McGill is awefully cold during winters and it is after all in a predominantly French city.

Montreal is prettier and has a more "artistic" feel to it than the notoriously political Washington D.C.

Northwestern? ;)

Georgetown has a better reputation in US. And it's in a really nice area of DC (which has great night life).

McGill is awesome, and Montreal is an amazing city...but if you're not a fairly good French speaker, you may have a harder time fitting in with the culture.

Based of of a lot of the things that i have heard about McGill (lots of grade deflation, huge classes, etc) i would go with Gerorgetown.

Georgetown in a heartbeat...

...McGill is an amazing city. Amazing. People are generally friendly and they all speak English (if not by choice...)

best (cheap) food you'll find on North America, and a spectacular music and art scene.

mcgill is huge, i can't imagine anyone choosing it over gtown unless they wanted to work in canada or for financial reasons

McGill costs much less than Georgetown, I'm told.

Yup. About 20k p.a. cheaper.

Georgetown. Overall, McGill undergrad is disappointing

Georgetown *I would choose McGill except the class sizes are HUGE.

Georgetown is going to be a better UG option in that regard. Though it is going to be at least 2X as expensive.
