Georgetown or Michigan for pre-med?

<p>My friend wants to do pre-med and is hoping with a sports entry to go to an ivy league. However, he probably wont make the team and therefore most likely wont be accepted to an ivy. </p>

<p>I am trying to convince him to apply one step below the ivys, like Georgetown. However he is a really big michigan fan and is emphatic that umich will provide a much better pre-med route than georgetown. I disagree but he doesn't want to just take my word for it. </p>

<p>What do you guys think? Does gtown go head to head or even better than mich in pre-med or is it just a poly sci/law school.</p>

<p>They are both great schools and he can get a fine premed education at either. He should go to the school that he prefers.</p>
